Why Are Things Changing?

  • To create a more effective distribution between expenditure and partner/worker satisfaction.
  • To allow more employees to receive PTO and healthcare benefit.
  • To better serve all employees rather than a select few.

PTO and Holiday Pay

Qualifications

  • PTO: 1800 consecutive hours from start date must be worked with no more than a 2-week gap in employment.
  • Holiday Pay: 1800 consecutive hours from start date must be worked with no more than a 2-week gap in employment.
  • Employee must work the day before and day after to qualify for holiday pay.

Terms

  • PTO will total 40 hours PER YEAR.
  • PTO hours will not carry over to the following calendar year. There will be no payout for hours not taken as paid time off. All PTO hours must be approved by a client supervisor and an MVP supervisor.
  • PTO can only be paid out in 8-hour increments.
  • There will be 3 paid holidays paid out in 8-hour intervals: Labor Day, Memorial Day, and New Year’s Day.
  • Start date refers to the date started at each specific work location. Should you transfer to a new work location, please reach out to your MVP representative to see if you qualify for these benefits.
  • If hired before 7/19/2021, employees will be grandfathered with the previous requirements of 1500 hours worked for PTO and 6 months worked to earn our 3 Paid Holidays.

Other Changes

Bonuses

  • Merit based bonuses at the company’s discretion.
  • Please see your MVP Staffing manager for more details regarding merit based, seasonal, referral, or site-specific bonuses.
  • All bonuses previously offered are no longer effective.

Boot Reimbursement

  • MVP will offer a boot reimbursement after the employee reaches 120 hours worked.
  • This reimbursement will cover up to $50 and can be requested in tandem with your following paycheck.
  • Employee must submit a copy of the receipt for reimbursement.

Benefits Enrollment

  • Employees are responsible for returning all completed enrollment forms within 1st week of hire.
  • If employee fails to return enrollment form, the individual must wait until MVP’s next Open Enrollment.
